A native of Rosario, Argentina, Alejandro has degrees in classical clarinet from Universidad Nacional de Rosario (Argentina, 1995) and in Jazz Performance from Berklee College of Music (Boston, 2003) where he studied with jazz masters Joe Lovano, George Garzone, Eddie Tomassi, Dino Govoni, Frank Tiberi, Shannon Leclaire, Dave Santoro among others. He has been the saxophone and clarinet teacher at the Municipal School of Music in Rosario, Argentina since 1992 until 2000.
