王翰強 Han-Qiang Wang

WANG HAN-QIANG was born in Taipei,where he began his studies of saxophone.
He entered the National Concervatoir of Musique de Saint-Maur des Fosses in France, where he is currently studying as a postgraduate with Professor Nicolas Prost. Han-Qiang graduated with First
Prize and Diplôme Supérieur d’Etudes Musicales(D.S.E.M.) from Saint-Maur.
After, he studied the National Concervatoir Musique de Cergy Pontoise with Professor Jean-Yves
Fourmeau. where he gets Professionement 1st Prize at the unanimity of the jury for saxophone
and musique de chamber. He was the first Chinese to get this Diploma in the Conservatoire. He
won 1st Prize and highest honors at the International Saxophone Competition de Nantes(France).
He has been admitted to many conservatoire in France:
Conservatoire de Bagnolet with Professor Jerome Laran,where he gets a Professionement 1st
Prize at the unanimity of the jury. Conservatoire de Aubervilliers with Professor Julien Petit.
Conservatoire de Montreuil with Professor Jean-Pierre Baraglioli.
Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison with Professor Daniel Gremelle.
Based in Beijing , China , Han-Qiang teaches saxophone at the Beijing Contemporary Music
Academy (CMA) and The China National Children’s Center. Has been the Saxophone Soloist of the
All-China Federation of Trade Unions Art Troupe in Beijing. Now he is the Secretary-General of the
CHINA SAXOPHONE ASSOCIATION and P.Mauriat saxophone artist.
