Marat Yuldybaev was born on the 30-th of September in 1951, In the Ufa city, Bashkortostan republic, Russia. As a youngster he attended the children’s musical school to study accordion. In the 1974 Marat graduated from Ufa Aviation institute. In the 1978 Marat graduated from Ufa collage of Arts with full course qualifications in saxophone, and then was teaching at the same collage.

For 13 years, Marat was the leader of a jazz ensemble called “Doostar”. This group recorded 3 albums featuring compositions by Marat and with distinctive Bashkirian melodies - "Carousel" (1981), “Marat Yuldybaev is playing”(1984) and “Black River”(1988).

“Doostar” participated in the Moscow Jazz festival, where they were commanded as “best group”. Subsequently they were invited as guest performers at festivals in Saint’s Peterburg , Tbilisy, Erevan and Riga, as well as going on tour in the United States , Germany and Central Africa. Marat Yuldybaev is competent on tenor, soprano, baritone and Alto Saxophones. His style is influenced by great artists such as John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Joe Henderson, Stan Getz.. etc.

In 1992, Marat settled in Bangkok, Thailand. He was performed at many hotel and jazz clubs in Bangkok, including the Shangri la, EverGreen, Sheraton, Dusi-tani, Brown Sugar C&R and performed in concerts with many great jazz musicians such as Steve Turre, James Moody, Regina Carter, and “Jazz festival Royale” (2004) etc. Since 1997, Marat has been performing as conductor and bandleader of the popular house band at the famous jazz Bamboo Bar in the Oriental Hotel.
